KUIH BUAH MELAKA

 

In some regions, "Buah Melaka" (Malacca fruit). It is one of the Baba Nyonya delicacies, this 'Kuih Buah Melaka' was made from rice flour with coconut flakes and filled with black sugar that make taste sweet. This traditional dish is quite homogeneous in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. It called as 'Buah Melaka' because it look like Melaka tree fruit.

I choose pandan leaf as my backdrop to show that the green color of  'Buah Melaka' was from the pandan leaf water. I also used some editing on the effect texture to make the food look more tasty. Im using side light which from window light where it help to provides a contrast and depth on image. This photo also using rule of third technique which there is blurry effect on the background and this photo was focus on the object directly.
